Easter Sunday

My sister, Nancy, had everyone out to her house for Easter. Thanks for having us out, Nancy. We had so much fun!

Anthony was in heaven! He got to play with all of his cousins and eat tons of sweets. Every time I looked, he was grabbing a treat off of the table!

Becky and David enjoyed some quiet time in the shade.

Maddie took him around to look for Easter eggs. He found the golden egg and won a huge chocolate bunny. Just what he needed!

Gianna In Her Easter Dress

Gianna got to get all dressed up for her first Easter. She looked so sweet in her dress.

Her Aunt Tamie held her after she got stripped down. I'm sure she felt much better!

Decorating Easter Eggs

Anthony got to decorate Easter eggs for the first time with his cousins. He had a blast! He loves doing artsy stuff so this was right up his alley!

Easter Festival in Georgia

We went to an Easter festival in Georgia with my sister, Kathy, and her kids (Maddie, Ayla and Hudson). Anthony was terrified of the mascot costumes so I'm not sure if he really enjoyed the day. Hopefully, next year will be better! Gianna stayed asleep in the carrier the entire time. I need a good nap like that!

My Mom came to visit in March to help me out with the kids. It was great having her here and so nice to spend time with her. The kids loved getting spoiled too! Thanks for all of your help, Mom!

Gianna Is Getting So Big

Gianna is getting so big! She went for her 2 week check up a few weeks ago and she weighed 7lb 10oz. She is a good eater and a good sleeper. We are enjoying having her in our family!

Grandma and Papa Came to Visit

Grandma and Papa Varckette came to visit and were a huge help with the new baby and with Anthony. Thank you!!

We got hit with another snow storm while they were here and Anthony got to go out and play.

Costume Day

Anthony and Chris pulled out the costumes and were having a blast. We bought Anthony this dragon costume for Halloween last year and he wanted nothing to do with it. I was shocked to see him it. He let Chris wear his astronaut costume that his cousin Hudson gave him. They looked so cute!

Gianna Goes Home

We brought Gianna home on a cold and snowy day. She got spoiled with lots of visitors.

Our New Addition

Gianna Linda Varckette finally arrived on February 9th at 11:19pm. She weighed 6lb. 10oz. She was definitely worth wait after being 13 days late!

Anthony has been spoiling her like crazy. He loves to give her kisses and even tries to snuggle with her!

Mr. Sweet Tooth

Anthony has the biggest sweet tooth. I had some cookies next to the stove that I guess he knew about. As I was trying to rest on the sofa (waiting for the baby to come), I heard some noise in the kitchen. I went in and found him on top of the stove with the bag in his hand! I have to constantly keep an eye on him. I guess I have to start putting the sweets up higher!

Becky and David's Visit

Becky and David came to visit us and the new baby. Unfortunately, the baby wasn't here yet! They booked their flights, hoping that the baby would be here by the time they got here. They had to return to Georgia before the arrival.

While they were here, we had a big snow storm.

Anthony and Daddy were in heaven. They went out and built a snowman together.

We went out to dinner with them. I got something spicy to kick in the labor. It didn't work!
