Sorry I haven't posted in a while. We have been so busy this summer. We have had something to do every weekend for the past month. Hopefully, things will start to slow down and we can enjoy some weekends home.

Came back to a Disaster!

We came back to a disaster when we returned from the Cape. Columbus got hit with 75 mph winds on Sunday and left us with a mess to clean up. Trees were down on our street but we were fortunate to not have any in our yard. While we cleaned up, Anthony and Chris played in the water fountain. They love playing together!

Congratulations, Bob and Jess!

Our friends, Bob and Jess, got married over the weekend at the Cape. My camera died right before the ceremony so I didn't get any shots of them together. I was sooo bummed! I was able to get a picture of Bob before the ceremony started and a picture of Jess having a great time on the dance floor. We had a great time and it was a beautiful wedding. Congratulations!

Back to the Cape

We were fortunate enough to get to go back down to the Cape for our friends, Bob and Jess' wedding. We saw a little bit of effect from hurricane Ike but it wasn't much to ruin our trip. We found some great shells and tons of starfish. We had a great time! My sister, Becky, and her family came down to stay with us. It was great spending time with them. Thanks for all of your help with watching Anthony!

Our Trip to Las Vegas

We got to escape to Las Vegas for the weekend. Marc and Laura had a seminar so Cal and I got to tag along. We missed Anthony a lot but we also enjoyed our time away. We gambled a little and drank a lot! The last picture of Cal shows how much we got ripped off on a drink. After we ordered, the guy charged us $20 a drink. Needless to say, we didn't get another one. It was one of the best drinks ever but not sure if it was worth it.

While we were there, we got to go see the Cirque show "O". It was awesome. We are looking forward to going back some day.

Anthony Loves His Food!

Anthony loves his food. This video is so funny. I gave him cut up bananas to eat and they were too slimy to pick up so he decided his mouth would be faster.

Anthony's First Bocce Tournament

We stopped in Cleveland for the annual bocce tournament. Anthony was sooooo into it. He loved watching from the sidelines. The guys in the tournament were so serious. They had to pull the measuring tape out constantly. Too serious for me!

Another Great Weekend at the Beach

We had another great weekend at the beach. Anthony loved it! He got to show off his bikini body and his new sunglasses with his cousin, Alyssa. I think she loved spoiling him. Our brother-in-law, Paul, had his boat out and we got to take Anthony for his first ride. He didn't know what to think at first but I think he really enjoyed it. By the end, he was dozing off.

A Night at the Winery for Ronnie's Birthday

We met up at the winery at the last minute for Ronnie's Birthday. Happy Birthday, old man! :) We hope you had a good birthday and weren't too hung over!

Anthony Meets His New Buddy, Cruz!

My friend, Kelly, had her baby, Cruz, 4 months ago and Anthony and him finally got to meet. Kelly came over to meet us for our daily walk and the boys loved getting to know each other. They will be running around together before we know it!

Hanging out at Grandma and Grandpa's House

Anthony loves hanging out at Grandma and Grandpa Varckette's house. He got to ride the wooden horsey for the first time. Anthony loves rolling over before I can get his diaper on. This is him showing off his little bum!

Joe and Jenn Terranova and Chris, Melissa and Sedona Stankus Come to Visit

The Terranovas and Stankuses came up to visit us. We stopped and had dinner in Little Italy in Cleveland and headed up to the lake house after that. We finally got to meet little baby Sedona. She is adorable. It was great visiting with all of you.
